Privacy Policy

1. Introduction & Scope

ClarityNorth Partners LLC ("ClarityNorth,” "we,” "our,” or "us”) is a privacy‑conscious organization. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you ("you,” "your,” or "User”) interact with:

  • Websites operated by ClarityNorth that link to this Policy (the “Sites”);

  • Diagnostic platforms, portals, or tools we make available (collectively, the “Tools”);

  • Mobile applications that link to this Policy (the “Apps”);

  • Emails, newsletters, webinars, and other communications that reference this Policy ("Communications").
    By accessing or using the Sites, Tools, Apps, or Communications (together, the “Services”), you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

We collect information in three principal ways:

  1. Information you provide directly

    • Business‑contact details (name, job title, company, business e‑mail, phone).

    • Responses you enter into our diagnostic questionnaires, surveys, or other free‑text fields.

    • Content you submit to blogs, forums, or other social features.

  2. Information collected automatically

    • Device data (IP address, browser type, operating system, device ID, referring URLs).

    • Usage data (pages viewed, time spent, clicks, navigation paths).

    • In Apps: device model, mobile OS, carrier, approximate location, and the way you use the App.

    • Cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6).

  3. Information from third parties

    • Professional‑profile data from publicly available sources or reputable data brokers for marketing or enrichment purposes.

    • Social‑network profile information when you log in via LinkedIn®, Microsoft®, or similar single‑sign‑on providers, consistent with your settings on that platform.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (e.g., government identifiers, precise geolocation, health, or biometric data). If you believe you have provided such data, please contact us so we can delete it.

 

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your information for the following purposes and, where applicable, on the legal bases indicated in parentheses:

  • Deliver and operate the Services (performance of a contract).

  • Provide personalized diagnostics, reports, and recommendations (legitimate interest / consent).

  • Improve, test, and enhance our Tools, methodologies, and user experience (legitimate interest).

  • Communicate with you about insights, events, or offerings you request or that we believe are relevant to your role (consent / legitimate interest).

  • Carry out research, analytics, benchmarking, and thought‑leadership publications using aggregated and anonymized data (legitimate interest).

  • Protect the security, integrity, and availability of our Services and prevent fraud (legitimate interest / legal obligation).

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations or respond to lawful requests (legal obligation).

 

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use first‑ and third‑party cookies, pixels, and local storage to:

  • Keep you signed in and remember preferences;

  • Measure site traffic and performance;

  • Provide analytics and improve content;

  • Deliver limited, role‑based marketing.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We disclose information only:

  • Within ClarityNorth and to our affiliates, to deliver the Services and for internal analytics;

  • To trusted service providers and subcontractors (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, e‑mail delivery) under written contracts that require them to keep data confidential and use it solely on our behalf;

  • To professional advisers (lawyers, auditors, insurers) bound by duties of confidentiality;

  • In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, provided that any successor entity will be bound by this Policy;

  • When required by law or to protect rights, including in response to valid subpoenas, court orders, or regulatory requests. Where legally permitted, we will endeavor to notify you before such disclosure.

All third‑party disclosures may involve transfers to jurisdictions without the same level of data‑protection laws as where you reside (see Section 7).

 

6. International Data Transfers

ClarityNorth is headquartered in the United States. Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area ("EEA"), United Kingdom ("UK"), or Switzerland to countries not deemed to provide an adequate level of protection, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms and implement supplementary safeguards as necessary.

 

7. Data Security

We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. No internet or e‑mail transmission, however, is ever fully secure or error‑free; please take care in deciding what information you send to us.

 

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with our retention schedule.

 

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to or a copy of the personal data we hold about you;

  • Request correction or deletion of your data;

  • Object to or restrict our processing of your data;

  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already performed);

  • Receive your data in a portable format;

  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
    To exercise these rights, please contact us as set out in Section 12. We will respond in accordance with applicable laws and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. For security, we may verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

 

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we learn that we have inadvertently received such data, we will delete it promptly.

 

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the revised Policy on the Sites and update the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the Services after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
